Roger Bauleke passed away peacefully on August 28, 2005 in Martinez, CA at the age of 52.
A 22-year resident of Livermore, Roger was known by his numerous friends for his bravery, gentle nature and sense of humor. Born in Corona, CA, Roger moved to Novato where he graduated from Novato High School. Roger received his Bachelor of Science from C.S.U. Chico. He worked for Triad Systems Corporation for eighteen years, then for Westaff, Inc., as a Programmer / Analyst.
Roger was also known for his fundraising efforts with the National Brain Tumor Foundation, participating in ten Angel Adventures as a survivor himself.
Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Dawn; his loving son, Jonathan; by his parents, Forrest and Doris Bauleke of Novato; brothers Richard, Ronald and Randall, and loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and parents-in-law.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Methodist Church, 4743 East Avenue, Livermore, CA on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Brain Tumor Foundation, 22 Battery Street, Suite 612, San Francisco, CA 94111-5520 or online at www.braintumor.org, in memory of Roger Bauleke.
